This one is for the risk-takers, the rebels, and the trailblazers. This is for those who don’t ask permission to be themselves, who push boundaries and challenge the status quo. Red Hot returns with a highly anticipated exhibition and 2023 calendar by internationally acclaimed photographer, Thomas Knights.

MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY
For their first exhibition in five years, Red Hot is shooting for the stars, showcasing an array of inspirational stories of redhead success. Dancers, actors, singers, models, athletes and content creators step into the spotlight and tell their ‘Own It’ story.
The exhibition and accompanying 2023 calendar showcase leading individuals of their field, and aims to inspire people to celebrate the things that make them unique. Expect to see famous faces like the Royal Ballet’s principal dancer, Steven McRae who has proven anything is possible by coming back from a ‘career ending’ achilles injury, to rising stars like figure skater Joe Johnson from Dancing on Ice and Cirque du Soleil, gymnast Sam Okojie and multidisciplinary creative Dale K .

WHY ‘OWN IT’?
‘As a child, any t hing t hat sets you apar t from ever yone else feels uncomfor table. When you grow up, it’s the very same things that end up being your calling card. Suddenly, being different feels amazing. Being unique is an asset. It’s a journey of self acceptance. For me, shaving off my badly dyed blond hair and embracing being ginger took over 10 years. I would love t his ‘Own It’ campaign to inspire people to feel empowered to celebrate t he t hings t hat make t hem unique.’
- Thomas Knights, photographer & creative director of Red Hot
