Brock Bowers by Dylan Damm

Brock Bowers by Dylan Damm Photography by Samuel Hopper

We take it all off and get up close and personal with the all-American dream melting hearts across the globe.

A golden retriever wagging its tail so hard that its whole body wiggles - that is the energy Brock brings when he enters a room. He is like a ball of lightning, crackling with energy and always ready to go. A chameleon, Brock knows how to switch it up - giving us bonafied boy next door cuteness - to mean but sexy locker room jock - to all-American dreamboat - to physique pictorial beefcake... we get the shot. I managed to sit down and chat with Brock over a zoom call a week after our shoot in Palm Springs.

DYLAN: Last time I saw you we were in sunny Palm Springs. Where are you right now?

BROCK: Yes! In Palm Springs AKA GingerVille. I’m back home in Oklahoma now and I’m actually about to go to Vegas on Wednesday.

DYLAN: What are you doing in Vegas?

BROCK: I’ve got a buddy that’s getting married, and we’re going for his bachelor party.

DYLAN: So, you’re going back to the desert...

BROCK: Yeah, it’s about to be another 115-degree day.

DYLAN: Well, it’s definitely not 115 degrees here in London. It’s been miserable. Safe to say I am a little jealous. It’s great to be able to sit down online and talk to you. I had so much fun shooting with you in Palm Springs, you are full of energy. You were a bit of a dark horse - I didn’t really know what I was expecting.

BROCK: I try to bring a lot of energy to every shoot just to try to get the best we can out of it.

DYLAN: And you can act! You did great filming for Red Hot X.

BROCK: I have actually been through modelling and acting school with John Casablanca last year. I would say that helped me a little bit. I had a blast all the guys were amazing. Palm Springs was amazing.

DYLAN: See, I’m still learning more about you. Now, without giving too much away, I think one of my highlights would be the ice cream shoot we did together. Did you have fun too?

BROCK: Honestly, it was a lot of fun holding a dripping ice cream cone in my hand and just trying to come up with as many unique, artistic poses as I could. But I think they turned out great. And the finale was me crushing it on my head.

DYLAN: Yeah, there’s something very charming about your confidence. Where does that come from?

BROCK: Oh, that’s a great question. So, as a younger kid, I was a bit of a thicker stockier boy, I would probably have to credit most of my confidence to the transformation that I’ve put my body through. I used to be really insecure about the way I looked without my shirt off. I would never take my shirt off if I could help it. But I lost weight. And I got a lot of confidence from that.

DYLAN: That’s amazing. To be honest, it was kind of hard to get you to keep your clothes on. You’re only 23 right? It was great to see somebody on set with all this youthful energy. How did you start this path that you’re on with modelling? How did that come about?

BROCK: So, I started modelling just after I graduated college, I graduated in 2022. With a biology degree, so not necessarily putting that to use yet but um, the modelling has been great. I got into modelling and acting school and got signed with my first agency all within about, I want to say three months into modelling, so that was really fast-paced, and probably not like that for everybody, unfortunately. But the agency I was working with really helped me with modelling poses and getting work, getting a foothold in the industry.
